BCS Graduate First Day Attendance Policy-Effective Fall 2009
Attention: There is no first day attendance policy for graduate classes in any BCS department except Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling. It is the student's responsible to ensure that his/her schedule is correct by the end of the first week of the semester.

For students taking graduate classes in the dept. of Rehab & Mental Health Counseling, please be aware of the following policy:

"In the Department of Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling, students are required to attend the first class meeting of undergraduate and graduate courses for which they registered prior to the first day of the term. Names of students who register prior to the first day of the term are printed on the first class roll for each course section. Students having extenuating circumstances beyond their control and who are unable to attend the first class meeting must notify the instructor prior to the first class meeting to request waiver of the first class attendance requirement. Students who add courses or late-register during the first week of classes will not be on the first class roll and , therefore, will not be dropped for nonattendance by the instructor. To avoid fee liability and academic penalty, the student is responsible for ensuring that he/she has dropped all undesired courses by the end of the 5th day of classes. Instructors will submit all first day attendance drops via Blackboard."
